The resolutions state reasons for opposition to the introduction of Chinese workers at Oswego by the Oregon Iron Company, briefly asserting that Chinese labor has proven damaging to other communities, is unprofitable to employers, and is unsupported by the Company's customers. Included are names of forty-four signers of the resolutions, including J.W. Cain, chairman, H.H. [McCord?], secretary.
